Another sale on Fine Art America

I’ll start with a post about the good news this month – a sale on Fine Art America for a shower curtain (!). My profit on this was only $5, but it is nice to think about the buyer stepping naked past my image (OK, I’ll stop that…)

This was the image:

Steve, where can I find the restrictions to what to post on that site? They don’t issue any licenses, right? It’s just prints and can we sell prints of anything, I mean, anything within standard moral values?

I’m not sure I have ever seen such a list of rules. They do have a section now where you can choose to also license your images in a stock collection, so if you do upload images that are not released, make sure not to check those options. But my general understanding is that creating a print is not “publishing” in the legal sense where you would need to have a release from any visible person or building. I don’t tend to push that very far, but that is my understanding in the USA at least.
