Earnings from Stock Photography August 2013

Another month goes by, and another set of earnings. August can be a slow month, and this month was no exception. Most of my sites seemed to have struggled to get anywhere near their best earnings, and the month ended below the $2000 bar that I am trying to always better. Final count is around $1960 this month. Shutterstock was one of those slow sites – I thought it was going to be one of the worst months there for a while, but in one week I had a $110 sale for this:

Then a couple of days later I had a $90 single sale for one of my bengal cat series:

And, the same day, an Extended sale for $28 for this bag of ice:

Unfortunately, that was my only extended sale for the month on Shutterstock! Looking forward to better sales as the year moves forward!

The other sites were nothing special – OK, but nowhere near their best. Another big sale on Zoonar, but that site can be very erratic. It is easy to upload to, which is its saving grace!
