Publishing your work

One of the challenges of seriously taking up digital photography is “what do I do with all these pictures?” They sit hidden on a hard drive and are almost lost from sight. Printing them doesn’t really work, because where do you then hang the frames? One thing I have started to do (and plan to do more of) is to create real books of my best images and then I can pick up the book from the coffee table and leaf through memory lane! I’ve used Blurb because they have an easy to use, but flexible, application to create the book, and you can also color manage the printing so that the book looks pretty close to the image on your screen.
